Between multiple eye witnesses, the GPS picture, and 630ft of lake elevation, the 97.1 mph is a lock and "The List" will be seeing a change. Nice work Ben.
..
Would be cool to know what wheel he used or perhaps it was still the Promax.

28SkaterCa are you out there? I wonder if he was able to get any additional GPS runs in with his V7 and the Promax prop.
The boys at Race Marine down in Melbourne Australia are building some serious rough water 22' SOB's for those in the new hull market.

Yes a lot of 20+ year old boats have had some kind of repair done to them, including refinishing and blue printing of the hull. So if that makes it not stock then yes it’s not stock. I think if a boat has had a gelcoat repair you would consider it modified lol

Ever since I bought my new 1978 Viking, every boat has been flipped and had the last 6/7 ft sanded edges sharpen

Hey Hoser, I am running 6 inches of setback, used to be 4 but I added 2 inch spacers. For the hull being stock, i hardly see blueprinting of the bottom being an alteration to it. But instead of this pissing match of who ran what how about you drag your stock Superboat up to Sacandaga for the romp in the spring and do the dam run with us. There have been many Superboats, Challengers, Progressions, you name it up there and for the last I don't know how many years in the 21 22 SOB V bottom's it has been either me or my father in his Velocity first to the dam. So bring it up and let's see what ya got.1985 22 Velocity 300X
