Hey just wanted to say Bens power at present is stock. It ran a solid 95 at Greenwood, no tide. Has run north of 95 many times but not quite 96. We just re rung the engine and maybe that's why its running a little faster. By the way he was solid on the limiter Sunday at that speed so don't get upset when he goes up 1' more in pitch and gets a better #.

did ben run a great number yes did he run 95 96 most the day yes it wasn't a one hit wonder . Up and down river Sunday it did it . As for greenwood it went 94 boat runs no bs he beats me every year . Maybe next year I will get him never know was a great run Sunday

Like I said in the past 85 is a great number should be happy to get it. If your running 90 plus pat your self on the back that's big. I pass many boats each year that say they run 90 it's bs . there aren't many that can break 90 at any given time . A number is what you can do every day not what you think you did once let's clear this up gps does lie it's called a glitch. Make 5 passes see it come up over and over that's a number . Another thing no gas no seats one time run for that big number great to see but bs for every day . Guys work really hard to set there boats up they should be proud of what they have done. If you lie your only hurting your own credibility it shows when you can't back it up.

What do you guys think 800ft elevation makes to a 90 mile an hour boat in other words if you can do 90 at 800ft what would you run at sea level.?

Don I've run 137 at 765ft with the spectre on fresh water ( sacandaga lake ) I think 140 is doable at zero and salt water!

Seems some feelings are hurt because ben's plywood 4 stringer, plywood transom, and full plywood deck boat is kicking some ass lol
and if you could see the knees they were glassing in-almost as thick as a transom double 3/4 ..you guessed it- plywood

bens cheering section is giving the long island guys some competition !

jimmy- ben's boat must have been laid up light becaue it makes no sense why its so light. Just dont
let anyone see that top secret bottom

Lol thanks for chiming in Rob, and to second what my dad said you and Mike did a great job on blue printing the bottom, I know that's one of the reasons it's as fast as it is.

It's supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny tomorrow afternoon. Dump your Checkmate 21 boat in at Cold Spring and run it down to the GWB. You'll know exactly what the difference is at sea-level.

Ben your boat was on fire last Sunday and I had good coverage of you running on my video as you can see.

I think it was the 6hr. rebuild and that you don't weigh anything...
