my trailer is shot buy another or repair mine
i have a trailer that doesnt have registration because i cant get the boat off to weight it and dont want to leave it at a marina thats the 1st issue
2nd issue i have a broken back beam both bunks are corroded front wheel is grinded flat from pushing it so much and it has no lights the trailer brand is float on which i think is good
im very good hands on if someone could guide me on how to take the boat off the trailer i know i could get the trailer back in road worthy condition im new to scream and fly so if i mis posted im sorry
unless you guys think a trailer off craigs list is a better route ive done the math it will be around 150-250 to fix everything myself another trailer would run about 250 - 400 money is tight and christmas is a few weeks away lmk what you guys thinkSit down hold on and stfu

Lower the front of the trailer as far as you can, block the back of the boat.then raise up the front get the weight off the trailer pull the trailer out slowly set it on blocks or jacks as you pull out. when your done repairing just back it under .

The vector is a 17.6 I think not 100% I know that's without engine so 19 with engine the beam is wider than my 2008 tahoe

Tie the boat's stern off to something secure (tree) or heavy (car or truck), loosen the winch a few turns, and pull the trailer forward until you have enough boat hanging over the back of the trailer to get stands under it, then proceed with the "lower the tongue" method. Or get some old tires and place them under the boat, tie the boat off, and pull the trailer out from under it, letting it rest on the tires. I've done both with no problems.

I'm about to finish up my aluminum trailer for my talon. I bought it for $900 on Craigslist and spent about $300 in parts to convert it from a v bottom to tunnel hull setup. Just to give you an idea. The new trailer is a 2007 continental. Oh and that isn't including registration fees and titling.
