78 150 max water leak on #6
looked thru post and could not find. new head gaskets milled heads all sufaces good but a bad leak on #6 can this be gaskets under power head any one had this problem i am torqueing to 22 pounds and on leaks on other cylinders just cant quit now any thing will help.

22lb/ft is not enough, spec is 30lbs, are the block surfaces true? Exhaust dividers can leak but would think there would some water in other cyl's.

The early exhaust dividers were a problem for cracking, If the crack is near the bottom it may be spraying water into the #6 ex port only.

I just repaired one with the same symptoms.
Bad power head gasket letting water through.death is certain; life is not

thanks guys have to get a lift ring and gaskets and probly sum pig puddy but i am hooked the thing sounds so good and vrevvves like crazy!!! can not wait to get it right.
