TX-19 Project
Drove 500 miles to get a "jet boat" off craigs list the jet boat was a 87 Mantra TX-19 SCORE! Boat had been sitting a number of years but was in good shape. Sealed the deal and now the fun starts.
first pics is just geting home after 500 miles and two flats. 2nd is pulling the old brand X motor out to make room for my 557 cube big block Ford. PS lots of big block chevy stuff for sale.....

zoomies $150, 454 4 bolt block 100 over and prob needs 3 sleeves (pits on cyl walls) $100, good 2 bolt 454 block $200, TRW 100 over 12.5 to 1 slugs on 7/16 bolt rods (floating pins) $250, 990 ret port heads $450, T-ram intake $200, GM steel crank 10M/std rod $200

it starts
Started on the motor plates, need some spacers and altenator mount so that will happen today if all goes well.

boat looks great good luck with it,lookin forward to seeing it in person.I have a youngblood thats in the works that will be next after the sleekcraft gets done hopefully this weekend .

hey dave looks great.how much different is the bottom of the tx then the borum was? and i'm shure it's lighter.wasnt the borums 900 lbs+?went out sat and was running sweet,new rectifier and had to readjust#4 carb bowl,was turning the omc 6200+ but go figure the speedo picup had something in it when the old rectifier was screwing up got about 74.still need a few more hours of seat time and trim setups and see how it will do.keep the pics comming.

Had to reinvent the wheel to mount the alt. Flipped it over and mounted it right to the plate.
