yours is a analog ecu if its original with no ddt pig tail and cannot be reprogrammed , take it from a guy who builds nothing but Mercury efi motors all year, year after !!!!! put it on and have fun it will hurt nothing most likely will run (unless it has a problem) i have had 150efi brains that out performed 200 ecus many many times

the 150 ECM is 3.5% less fuel than the 200... and designed around the lower timing specs the 150 gets set to... SO LONG as it doesnt go lean they do run harder because the 200 is a fat to begin with motor.. im digging and looking at my pile of ECM's i know 2 are 200's so far... 1 is a 220 Laser 2.4 as well but i have 2 without tags that are either a 150 or 175 just gotta run em to see what they do on the 175 test bed we have

first time i heard less fuel delivery and timing are connected on the fuel percentage maybe that should have started with once upon a time , the analog ecus are old schools and some are good some aint if you own a ddt and they are digital you can read the prom ID number it will tell you what its off of, all the old school are written in sharpie

also with a ddt i read pulse band on injectors is almost identical as well as fuel delivery on injectors from a 150,175,200 is the same when i clean them

injectors are all same its pulse % of total open flow that changes they are pretty basic ecms but there were differences in total overall flow rates between the different ecms.. ive seen it first hand on motors ive personally ran a 200 with 150 ecm can easily go lean ad detonate but a 175 will be piglet fat with a 200 ecm.. .. ask silverbullet02 how we learnt that one... sure they all will run, but i aint seen a member here on this site that is good enough to have mediocre vs top performance now that said... there was a 175 ecm and 200 ecm on ebay today.. both for 500.00 all my functional ecms are 200/220laser stuff atm... but i have another motor due in soon that iirc was a 175
