jupiter pulsare,I know a Ben Robertson in charleston SC,he use to race tunnel boats years ago,if its the one you were asking about he owns BAR marine in charleston SC,his # is 843-893-2286,and you got a nice project going,I also bought the black 20br that wildman had,my son loves it

Gman, I spoke to Ben a few days ago. My boat was ordered from his father's dealership, Dorchester Marine, and sold to a guy named Cary Higgins in GA. The boat was race rigged with tripple 2.4 Offshores directly on the transom. Ben said he remembers the boat running pretty damn good!!

Here's the weekend update. Yesterday I wire brushed, cleaned and painted my Offshore single piston clamp, removed the stock clamp and 20" mid from the boat, removed the batteries and cleaned the bilge, polished my Shifter/throttle box, and cleaned up the one seat I've left on board (the driver's seat!

) Today was a day of torches and turning wrenches to take apart a 25" mid from a stock clamp and marry it to my Offshore clamp and 1-piece high performance adapter. I installed the tilt tube for the external steering and mounted the entire assembly to the Gil bracket and hooked up the steering rams. I'm waiting on some longer studs for the bottom of both powerheads to reach through the high performance 1-piece adapters..getting closer!!

I don't know where you guys find the time to push your projects through so quickly. It's looking real good, I really like what you are doing. As Forkin says you need to lose that pink wheel, I would get so much sht if any boat of mine had a pink steering wheel..............

The wheel is actually fire engine red..it just appears pink in the photo!

I wish I had more time to work on the boat. This weekend was the first time in 2 weeks that I got a chance to get some things accomplished. After two days of work and 95 degree weather I was shot!! I won't get a chance for another 7-10 days to work on it again....

Quick update. I worked on the 28 last night from 6-10pm. Installed a new waterpump housing and impellor into the portside Bobs lower unit and intalled the lower unit onto the portside midsection. I also swapped out the portside block lower studs for longer studs and got the portside powerhead mounted. Finally both motors are mounted!!

I still need to swap out the lower studs on the starboard block for longer studs, mount my trim pumps, fuel pumps and batteries. Then I have to tidy up some wiring and double check everything. I'm also rebuilding/duplicating the portside bolster seat guts with new material. Once complete I can recover the seat with the original vinyl. Getting closer to the splash day!!! I'll try and get some pictures up this weekend..

Steve, look at it this way, when I'm shoveling snow you'll be enjoyong your new ride...........that should make ya feel a little better.....lol.
