Andy had never lost a 800ft race until recently.

I thought bush has gone undefeated for a while too.

I have really enjoyed reading this post and it brought back a lot of memories. I am just going to say that all these racers that have been mentioned were way ahead of the pack in one way or another. You can be just like everbody else and you will run just about as fast as they do. These guy's did it their way and I am glad to have known most of them.

Dp, he (kottman) only helped me win about 22 plaques so i guess i am gonna have to start back racing and see if i can catch up with you lol! It was alot of fun back in the day! I miss the old "yamaha gang". He was the man! Who knows he may still have a few wins left in him!?? Like you said wish everyone he helped win would post just to see how many wins he had a part in!

You mean to tell me that there were drag boaters right down the road from Clayhatchee?

I did. Nitro propane has 20 percent less btu's than nitro and I could never get it to suspened with the oil in the pre mix. So I just tore up my stuff with nitro.
