Is is a V hull or a YT? Which 200? 2.0, 2.4, 2.5?
Ill guess a little:
A v-hull will run high 70's low 80's set up right with 6-8" of setback. Start out with a 26" Merc Chopper. It's a great baseline prop that gives good lift.
Im guessing it's a 2.5L 200... If its a 2.4 or 2.0 liter, it may have slightly less punch and top end.
I have seen real primo-set up Valero/200 combos hit 90 but it's gotta be perfect and it wouldn't be a stock motor. The Reverend, (Cedar Machine Service on Facebook)

Hi
I own a Valero V buttom with a 150 xr6 which means it's a 2.5.
I run my boat with a 6 inches setback, with a manual jack, and I have a 28 chopper or a 24 chopper, both does pretty the same except rpm and wholeshot, into the low 70
my gaz tank is at the front,
my batteries are at the back passenger sideLast edited by Yubz; 04-24-2012 at 12:28 PM.

I was wondering about moving my tank at the back. My concern is that te tank dosen't fitt at the back, it is to big. I have around 20 gallons of gas into my tank. If I ride one total day non-stop I fill it during the morning and when I come back. I know and I want to, but I'm getting tired of throwing my money into my boat. I was thinking with the gaz tank at the front is better for the waterski. Am i crazy or not so bad, don't worry, I want to know which is good or not !

I was thinking about putting my battery in the bow and keeping my fuel cell in the rear after I get the hull up and running I am gonna move up my backseat and build a small sunpad and then redo the upholstery next season its in good shape but its tome for a color change

No fuel tanks in the bow--ever!
There is plenty of room for a 20 gallon tank, battery and even oil tank in the stern.
If you're not a heavy driver and don't carry heavy passengers, you could mount a lighter battery (Odyssey PC925 works well) up front just in front of the bulkhead, on the port side.

If you calculate the work for doing it, cause my tank dosen't fitt, I need to buy a new tank, take off the old one, change my fuel line everythin, does it worth it ?
