Anyone used vinyl paint/dye on their seats?
The seats in my Allison are looking pretty stained and I am having a tough time getting them clean. Has anyone ever painted their vinyl seats with something like Dublicolor Vinyl spraypaint? How did it turn out?

I had a Corvette that I "freshened up" the dash, door panels & seats with the the vinyl dye. They were solid blue in color, it matched perfectly and held up very well. Bear in mind this wasn't like a boat where they get wet etc.It may be worth a try.

If you clean the seat really well and follow whatever directions are on the can, it should work fine...In the past, I've cleaned my seats, wiped them down with laquer thinner, and sprayed them with regular automotive paint with plenty of adhesion promoter (flex agent). The seat would be a little shiney, though.

Thanks for the info guys, I am going to give it a last try with Mr Clean Magic Eraser before I go to the paint.
