Thank God and a smart boater for that jacket! Didn't know you had dumped one at that speed.

Loved that video! Way different running surface, but reminds me of our Vandal. I see you have the mandatory duct tape aboard--universal repair kit! I am curious about the life jacket,though--never seen one like that. And yes, you must respect any of those old school pure tunnels.

Its my Kayak Lifejacket. I have an old Lifeline I got used now. That Kayak Jacket saved my butt a few years back when my motor came loose and threw me out

Took about a half hour for someone to find me bobbing around in the lake

25 is fairly young for a dude thats into outboards. Glad your here. Get your friends involved. In my opinion the one of the lowest costs ways to get over 100 is pick up a Mirage or a STV. $12,000 should get it done.

I have had 5 STVs that all went well over 100 (best 127) and one of my Allisons. This pic is from my other Ally and never trust your gps as this boat has never seen more than 95 or so. Have 2 new ones I have not got wet yet. One is a 13' with 150xs/speedmaster with nitrous and the other a 20' Seebold with a 300xs stroker.

Same exact thoughts here, I am 31 and not really aiming for 100 just a good solid 80+ mph boat. As stated above $$$ is the biggest limiting factor right now.

I've met a couple local guys my age through here that I go out with quite often. They're probably the reason I don't fish as much as I'd like. May need to change my SN lol.

Milkdud I don't know about you, but running mid 70s on the Des Moines river is about as fast as I like to go. It starts to feel real narrow at those speeds. Let me know if you ever want a chase boat I'd love to see that thing run.
