Back when I was trying to go fast, my V-King with a 245 HP Bridgeport flirted with 100. I'm not sure how fast it was as we didn't have GPS at the time. Would turn a 30" cleaver over 7000r's with a 1.87 gear.... Must have been close tho..... Now i'm running in the mid 80s with a stock 200 and 28p at 6500r's.. Fast enuf for me.. I no longer have a death wish

My STV Euro was also a 100mph+ but no longer wish to be in that club. I'm now happy with low 90's in our 22 Cougar MTR

V-21, 225 HO, got 90 on GPS at 7000 rpm, with one of Steve's magic props, Triton Hoss 30P. And damn proud of it. Of course the Triad handles like a dream ride. Don't think I'll try for anymore. The other boat is a tritoon that seems to get most of the use anymore, think I'll have another drink, cheers!!!

i had one mirage and four stv's. been over 100 too many times to count, it's quite a rush/addidction, but also saw first hand what happens when things go bad. i want another performance cat, but dont need to run over the buck mark anymore.
current rides-
DCB Mach 22, twin 2.5
2002 Bullet 20 XDC
1991 Checkmate Pulse 225 Promax
Jamis Zenith Elite road bike-one old man power
past rides- four stv's, one 21 liberator, one mirage and a glasstron and a few pontoon boats and a duck boat.
past power-2.5's, 200, 260,280, drag. 3.0 L-225, 300x

Hey, Fish--poll is working. Just didn't work first time I tried to do it. I still think results are skewed by people over 100 bragging, but as I type this we are 49 and 49.
Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."
