I got old hot boat mags.eighties on the back cover Eliminator had an ad CAL address and Wis. Jim and Jerry Menum built them in Wis. plant in Shawano . under A licence agrement with Leach
Jerry left in The late eighties went on with Randy Schism (MTI) To Dubi The Victory Team Jerry Works At MTI now building boats, All the high $ cats. I have An Obsession 94 23 built at the same Plant in Shawano, Obsession became the name in ninetys They had 23. 22. 27, 32 all same as Eliminator.Last edited by obession; 06-25-2012 at 09:39 AM.

Found this sitting outside after 15 years uncovered had a 454 and trs. Sold motor and drive put in bravo and 500 Hp ,raised drive 5 inches went from 55 to 79 at 5200

The headers got to go got a set of cmi s fixing up for it they r too loud and too hot,my friend has a blown bb. W headers and its not as loud can't understand y mine r so loud.i could of went ob. But too much $$$ for them got plenty of bb. Stuff around ,building a 540 for it

What kind of prop and trim setting are all the fast 23' eliminators running?

So does the 400 work as a single on this hull? I am hoping it has the torque required to get it up on top with a decent size wheel in order to get some decent top end. It sure looks nice-

I've been able to turn a 26" prop 7000 rpm so far, but I'm working on the setup as my slip numbers are over 20%. I'm still struggling with the porpoising issue as well.
My original thought was that 22' talons and 24' skaters have run well with a single 400, plus a bunch of these boats came with twin 200's back in the day. I'll have the same power but theoretically less weight and drag than the twin 200 combo.
