    Mahle Rings

I am rebuilding a 2.4 Bridgeport and it has two ring Mahles. Does anyone know what rings to run or where to find them. I believe they are a special ring for the Mahles. Please correct me if I am wrong. I need three chrome sets and three iron sets.
    Thanks

They don't make rings for 2.4s anymore. Its junk, just scrap it and git a 2.5

Thanks Dave, do you happen to know if there is something different about them. I was told that Wiseco rings will work. I will call Jay or John today

I replace ole 2.4 pisson wit Pro Marine Vertex pissons...I have a set in my BP, and in several other BP's, and they work quite well!!....U juss order them with which ring U need for tha bore(steel or chrome, or nickle)...Rings for chrome work well in a nickel BP hole!!.....U kan damm neer buy new pissons(which kum wit rings) for what mercury rings cost(if U find them).....U juss have to flatten tha spot wher tha bridge is( I also drill 2 small holes to kool bridge)......Vertex pistons handle hi rpm's reely well also!!!....Juss food for thought!!

Hey Rex, I'm trying to do this on a budget, so I would rather not replace pistons if I don't have to. I talked with promarine and they said that if they are "Mercury Mahles" then their standard 2mm ring works. The pistons already have the flat milled in the side of the piston with two holes drilled. Do you agree about those rings working ok?
    Thanks
