    Bearing cup dimensions

    Hi all,
Does anyone have the EXACT dimensions for the bearing cup part # 14469t? I bought some CM tube and I am going to make a few because I refuse to pay triple or more for the sleeve that goes around the ball bearing than I paid for the bearing itself. $65 for the bearing, $341 for the "cup", excuse me. Something wrong with the math here. They can be found for around $250 on the net but that is still triple the cost of the bearing. If I end up making some extras I will probably sell them for less than half the current internet price. Just a thought if anyone ends up needing one. My old one has been misplaced. Any help with specs would be appreciated otherwise I'll have to use the trial and error method, hopefully with few errors, the tube was expensive. I know it is about 85mm ID and about 90mm OD but I need the exact size to account for press fit on the bearing and in the housing.

    Thanks,
    D21

There is no cone and race it is a one piece ball bearing. It is used on the ball bearing in the very front of the case on the front of the forward gear. Technically on my lower it is on the reverse gear because it is a lefty, but the part is in the same position regardless if it is a righty or lefty. My lower is a lefty 2 hole CLE on a '89 2.4efi. OC175758 or OC175745 same engines one righty and one lefty. Follow this link and it is part #76 in the diagram.

Again any information would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    D21

Not sure who they are. Cheapest I could find was about $250 which is $150 too much. It's a $100 part if you make one or two. It's a $50 part if you're tooled up to make thousands like Mercury.

For some reason the system wouldn't let me delete this post, I forgot to quote the other one so I posted again with the quote. Now everyone who looks at this thread has to waste 16 seconds of their life reading this. Thanks admin for making it so fun and easy to delete an unwanted post.
