Seebold cat info
Looking for info on the history of this Seebold. Know it was raced in a Paris 6 hour in the 80s but beyond that have no details of its history. Can anyone help? Thanks.

John Hill had the Nordica sponsorship for a while ------but it;s more likely to be one of Michael Werners as he had the LM lubricants sponsorship for a while and did run Seebolds

Old racing drivers
Its of interest to mention Lowestoft&Oulton Broad motor boat club and its famous racing drivers. As a 15yr old spectator in 1963 i remember Pop Snelling an ex Spitfire Pilot enjoying driving a new 100hp Mercury engine`Dick Kimbling had one too on a 16ft Bristol hull he was a slot machine King at the time who paid for his outfits+repairs with a large sack of coins the supplying dealers under instructions not to tell his wife how much he spent.Toby Sutton held the lap record at that time with ROOSTER a 3 pointer inboard hydro`any boat racer could turn up on a thursday afternoon and join in the evening handycap races watched by hundreds of spectators some outfits rode 2 up` i remember John Clapbum racing one of Tom Percivals old Abbate Cats with a 6cyl merc.Another brilliant young driver at that time Neil Gregg who was asked to race for OMC`Johnson in Europe and later years Mercury Mariner.Maybe you could add to this.

Nelly has been a very good friend of mine for over 50 years. He lost the use of his arm for nearly 2 years after a bad crash in Bristol,.
A good friend of Percy and Bob Spalding-----Lived in Bungay Suffolk most of his life and was a stalwart of the L&OB motor boat club.
Once sold me a V8 Aston Martin for £3,200-------made £600 when i sold it 2 years later.
Sent me a picture of him playing with his grandson last week----------a great guy-----someone i had a lot of time for------sad loss indeed.

Cool, I've been to Sizewell for work several times, even driven through Lowestoft. I had no idea about the boat club.
I'll have to look it up next time I'm over there.
