    1985 OMC Johnson 275hp V8, 3.6l Looper

Purchased with less than 20hrs on it, all original. Now has 650hrs, runs great. No corrosion or rust. New head gaskets (after 19yrs, thought it was a good idea) about a year ago. Compression 140-145 on all 8 at that time. Comes complete, ready to run. Has been under a cover all its life, so the cowl graphics are still in great shape too! Lower unit recently services with new water pump also. PM for more info or if interested. Engine is in Port St Lucie, FL

    SOLD

Can I ask how much it sold for? I may have one for sale soon, considering getting a boat with one and upgrading to an HPDI, depending upon how much the 275 would be worth. It's in good, clean shape and runs fine, no issues. 1988 year, 275 Johnson.

See this thread for a potential buyer: http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...ar-half-needed

I want to say the complete engine/mid/gearcase sold for $2500, but I'm not quite sure anymore.
