If we'd have gotten up into the Hudson a little ways it would have. Gotten better but something came up and we had to go back. The other two guys had an awesome trip around Manhattan but it wasn't in the cards for us today. Gonna hit the lake here tomorrow. Like the lady said, "there's no place like home".

Guys, I ve been lurkin for months, and your non event looks like fun! I just reserved 201. Bein a newbie would ya please watch after me! What do I need to bring? (other than the boat, and rain gear) Im and hour south of Buffalo, so its about 5 to 6 hours. I will be there thursday afternoon. Hope to meet you other non event guys, see ya then! Honk

We just ride around. There's little one on one racing, we pretty much know who's got what, so there's not much point.

Cruising around showing how bad ass we are is cool with me, but when you all decide to leave my 60mph boat in the dust and do some real runs I want a good place to shove it on the beach and enjoy the show. Besides, when I come back there with the whole family in tow I need to know where to go to cut the kiddies loose to play on the beach.

I'll be there in the afternoon on Thursday. I have a Cougar 21MTR with a 300xs. It will reach for the sixties too, as long as i have the right prop on! Thanks for the words and see ya in a week. Hopefully I can get my GPS speedo working. It worked when i put it to sleep last fall, and now nothing? see ya soon! Honk

Hard to pick a spot to watch from shore, because we move around a lot. The lake is 29 miles long. We'll run for 20 minutes or so, then stop and shoot the bull for a half hour, then take off again, depends on what everybody feels like, and we're pretty poorly organized

This is a lot more about having fun and relaxing, than it is about just going fast.
