I have seen the numbers people with 21 xrd bullets have put up. Both boats the same in build as in no planned weight difference. The 250xs puts up about 87 light and 82-83 with a tourney load. The 250 ho etec does about 84-85 light and 80 ish loaded. Boats are not run side by side but these numbers have come over more than a year of riding around so pretty close id say. This is info i have read and discussed posted over in fastbass. No direct experience i cant afford one of those rigs yet! Lol hope this helps

I love my 250ho and everyone that has ridden in my boat has been surprised by the torque. It likes big props and does not need to spin to the moon.

That's the closest to an honest comparison of the 2 I've ever read..lol thankyou I'm not pro or against either of the 2..but have always wondered which motor will outperform the other..I think the sport master may be what makes the difference...Both motors are pretty equal..
Took me a year to figure out how to change the signature...guessing im kinda e-retarded

Actually the 21xrd requires a torquemaster unless a good bit above a 250. This again is for the stock weight xrd
