You could put the other emm on there and it would run but probably like sh#t because the injector coeficents would be all wrong.ie each injector has a serial number with information on how it flows, emm adjusts rich or lean so all 6 are even. You can replace 1 or all 6, new injectors come with a software disc to install them

Nothing on the market currently has the power and drivers to replace the E-Tec EMM. People have tried. Now, we'll see what the future holds, but just taking a MoTec or similar EMM and bolting it on is not possible as of today. That might be the easier route, but that's a large financial undertaking for a very small (and currently illegal) activity.

On to the next project....

Sam thats 100% true. There is nothing that you can bolt on, it will have to be built. It can be done but its not feesable ( sp?)..
I dont think it would be any issues swapping a 250ho to a 225ho emm for emm as long as you had the matching heads w. the injectors ( in theory)
however I think the heads are slighlty different.
I dont think your going to see a major gain. Money is prob better spent on set up.Change is a good thing.

interested in a set of reeds,do they still use the factory stops? pricing and contact info would be great! single stage or dual? pm me if you like
(injectors run on 55 volts dont think anything else would run them)Last edited by elite service; 10-25-2011 at 06:20 PM.
