Has your dealer run the boat with you while monitoring the engine with a laptop and checking both the fuel pressures and the fuel vacuum at the problematic rpms?

Fuel lift pumps are known to get sticky on those engines, do you ever have to pump the primer bulb to get it re started?

Have someone watch the primer bulb while running, see if it sucks the bulb flat, kinda like a pancake! If so check for restriction like racer said, Lines filter and anti siphon valve or bad bulb

I've ran into this problem before with a 225 ho I believe 2008 also, and after many trips to the lake data logging we finally discovered a hairline crack in the fuel pump vst assy. Very hard to see but after many hours scratching our heads we finally tried another vst we had laying around and it solved the issue and we went over the one we pulled off found the crack right where the pump mounts us on the back side. There was no seepage. But I also want to tell you about what we've see lately, is a rash of injectors failing with no codes what so ever and they would go in and out before they would finally fail completely still with no codes being set. But your issue I agree sounds like a fuel restriction somewhere between the pickup and the pump. Just thought I'd put my 2 cents in and see if any other dealers are seeing these issues yet
