    Tach jumped around then stopped working-could stator cause regulator to go out causin

    Tach jumped around then stopped working-could stator cause regulator to go out causing one side not to fire? Regulators are brand new. Would that cause it not to turn up and spin the prop..

    Regulator OR rectifier according to what motor.. Trace the grey wire in the harness backwards to the reg or rectifier that is the feed line to your tach..
