    1994 Mercury XRI 200hp Engine mods?

    Just purchased a 87 Hydrostream Vegas with 94 XRI 200hp efi.Engine is stock.What mods if any are available to do?Still want engine to be reliable and user friendly.

    To get the most out of it go to DSRAonline.com and read ProStock rules.
    May be more than you want to do but it's a start. You do not need to do any
    block work what so ever. Mostly bolt on parts and modify what you have.

    There is a TON of stuff you can do, I had the same motor you have, sent block to Ruck for some goodies, I had put a MAD EFI on it, good reeds, worked the gearcase and it was/is a STRONG runner for a steel sleeved motor.......great motor and good luck !
