    Question Welding on my 2.5?

I need to do some welding on my block. I need to find out if I should remove any or all the electronics(stator, power packs, etc.) before I do so.

    Thanks,
    vamp

It definitely would not be a bad idea. I know for a fact it will take out an ECU.

    Thumbs down 2 studs

My torque wrench must be out of calibration. I must have tightened the 2 studs holding the power head to the exhaust plate to tight and cracked the block in them areas.

    Thanks,
    Vamp

If it’s the two studs in the back it is from not tightening in the right order. Always tighten the middle first then the front and the back last.
