Hard to tell whats going on in the pics. But, I have all the bulkheads in. Fuel and water tanks are in. Just made templates for all windows and ordered all my port holes and ventilation hatches. Need to do some finish work inside and then I will start to do some rigging. Plan to start paint and finish work on exterior in the fall. One day at a time..... Got to have vision.

Speaking a part of the peanut gallery.... that is totally gorgeous. I showed my wife & she just can't imagine living like that someday. A dream come true.

Our plan is to spend the next two years finishing the boat. We want to travel a bunch. We would like to do the "great loop" and a lot of cruising in the islands. Yes, we will live on it however, still plan on keeping the house for home base. Furthermore, if our country keeps headed the way its going, we will sail away and become "ex pats" Getting pretty sick of our "free country" Here is the same hull finished. Mine is the 44 power cat. http://www.endeavourcats.com/

I hear ya on the "free country" bit would be nice to have that freedom. do they sell these boats unfinished like that or do you know someone? are they made local to you? How much do you expect to save doing it your self?

Funny thing is I saw one of these boats in Kings Bay last Sunday. My Wife and I looked at it close and it is really nice. At first I thought it was a cat motor sailer and then noticed it had no mast or tabanackle. The only thing we thought compared to a mono hull is, do you have to run both engines all the time?......I would guess so, or you would be going round in circles.
