2.4, 2.5 liter fishing lower unit into a 3.0 torque master lower unit

Can anybody tell me if the parts from a 2.5, 2.4 fishing lower unit can fit in a 3.0 torquemaster lower unit? I'm tring to convert a counter rotating torque master into a right handed lower unit. I can't seem to find good priced parts for the torque master or just parts at all used. I do have parts from a 2.5 and a 2.4 lower unit. I do know a 3.0 bearing carrier will fit in the 2.4, 2.5 lower units but not sure about the gears and shafts going in the 3.0 off a 2.4 and 2.5.

I dont know the answer to your question but if you go to mercruiserparts.com and look up the various part numbers for the 2 lower units innards you can see if any parts #'s match up. I suspect not as the Sporty is the 19 spline fat shaft and the 2.4/5 lowers are the 15 spline prop shaft.

The counter rotation torque master came with a LH fat shaft. I have a RH fat shaft that i was going to use but I can't seem to find good used gears for it. I heard the fat shafts can be taken out and 2.5 shafts can be put in place. i'll go take a look at mercruiser and see what it says.
