1999 Allison XR2001-drag.... McDonalds happy meal boat for sale.... YELLOW and RED!!
I'm selling my Ally drag to get a newer lighter one. Hopefully I can afford a CF ally. this boat is a true drag with an extra skin on the cap to help resist stress cracks. it's a 525-530 lb. layup. the boat is rigged with allison hydraulic steering. 24V double fail proof trim computer system. Braille lightweight batteries. two seats even though it's a drag.
and I've got 2 long fairings plus a river racer fairing. trailer is a tandem Boatmate and pulls great. maybe 100lbs tounge weight. the boat moves easily by hand even though it's a tandem. you just lift the toung up with your hands about 3 feet off the ground and it'll pivot on the rear axle... bottom's blueprinted, and the boat runs and drives great. THE ONLY REASON IT"S FOR SALE IS TO GET ANOTHER ONE JUST LIKE IT BUT LIGHTER!!!!!! so please don't lowball me.
I'm asking 7500 o.b.o. if your interested, PLEASE CALL ME at 985-255-9591. I'm very busy and don't have time to respond to the 15 ads I have on a regular basis. half the time I forget about some of the ads.

Randy, after seeing this thing over the weekend, I'm suprised you're selling it. This is going to be a great deal for someone looking for a fast boat that's very stable. I think I may be sold on Ally's after seeing them all weekend.'78 Hydrostream Viper under construction Getting closer!

can you give me an idea of what kind engine, and what type of money to make this a turn key package capable of 105 mph consistently. The last outboard i had was a 28 skater with 2.5 efi o/s and that was about 10 years ago, so i am rusty at best...

You would need nothing other than the complete 20" engine. The trim indicator bracket is for a factory 15. But you could make it work if you wanted to.

Sorry guys, but I won't sell her for 9k anymore. It'll have to be 10k cash firm, and I still don't wanna sell her.

I can testify as to the blazing acceleration and speed of this boat. Randy was kind enough to take me for a short blast in it yesterday. It is and awesome looking boat, and it rides as good as it looks. It shines bright yellow and red, and the finish is glossy and flawless.
I'm 6'4" and 250lbs. It dragged me and Randy around like we weren't even in it. I don't know how fast we got up to, but I was expecting a sonic boom at any moment! It turns on a dime, and it rides suprisingly good in wakes. I was riding in the back with glasses on, and the wind wasn't that bad. This will make somebody a great boat.
Randy is a great guy to deal with, and he made me feel right at home. He fixed me up with my new boat!
I snapped this picture of his boat with my cell phone and I thought it would be fitting for the "McDonalds happy meal" boat.
