    efi fuel return line help

Hello. is it possible to have the fuel return line plumbed
to a tee fitting just before the efi pump?

I have 2 fuel tanks and want to have one return.
    Cheers,
    Greg

    Thank you for the replies.

I had it returned to one tank.
i removed the fuel gauge and made it the vent.
i attached the fuel return to the old vent (added an aluminum down tube).
as there are 2 tanks with a selector valve i realized that (duh) that one tank would be emptying
    and the other filling.
I moved the return to a "T" fitting after the selector valve before the filters.
after that i notice some turbulence in the filters?
The rig has never been in the water.
I guess it is time to water test it. lol

There are valves that switch the feed as well as the return. Common on EFI trucks.

I have a 2.4 bridgeport and I have an electric tank valve to switch from the dash each tank. I bought the same valve for the return line and installed a switch up front. When I am on the the right tank i am on the right return side so fuel goes back into the water separator on the right tank.. Each tank has it's own separator so each tank has a return line plumbed to it..This works perfectly and I don't have to get out of the chair to do anything..Works great when you are racing, low on fuel run out and switch both switches over to barely miss a beat...hope that helps....
