Filling Deep Scratches on Bottom
I need to fill and surface the bottom of a boat that skid on the ramp. The damage is on the center of the pad and not on the edges. The damage is less than a 1/4" deep. What would be the best to use for the "BODY WORK" before gel coating? I think Bondo type fillers would be too soft and thickened resin would be too hard to sand. Any suggestions?

You could use some dura glass filler, or just thicken the gell cote with some cab-o-sil and use that for the fill.
