    2 stroke Fuel injection

Ok guys, I need some help. I am looking to find some aftermarket fuel injection to put onto my omc v8's. I want to build the system , just need to find an ecu system that will work with a 2 stroke. I want to try and make it sequential fire , use 8 msd coils, a single throttle body with a custom plenum up front, plumb in the injectors behind the reeds, one for each cylinder. I know it will all work, just need to find a programable ecu that will fire a 2 stroke.I want to take the factory charging system off and set up an alternator that will run off of the power steering pulley on the flywheel. Any help would be appreciated.

    Several I know use MOTEC, either M48 (will do 4,6,8), M600 for a 6, M800 for an 8 and CDI8 for spark.

Not cheap but fully programable for each individual cylinder for fuel and spark throught the rev range.

but hitting a price tag close to 10.000 dollars is probably not something you want to hear
    http://www.dtafast.co.uk/S_80_PRO.htm
dta S80 is close to a 1200 euro ?dollars
but you would have to run induction ignition ( optimax coils or bosch coils)
and high impandance injectors or ballast resistors on low impandance injectors

you would have to go to http://www.ms3efi.com/
as MS2 will only do 6 ignition outputs
there is a stable code for the MS3 but i don,t think it will support 8 cylinder two stroke (16 cylinder fourstroke )
    at this time
    they are developing Alpha codes
    http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewto...?f=125&t=38967
    which should give support
if your engine is still in one piece i would first install a data gathering system
to have a reference when you start with the system
    http://www.aim-sportline.com/pages/b..._bike_evo3.htm
    http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/dl_32.php

you should be able te get something like this

    BigStuff3

Contact BigStuff3, I did on a project that i'm doing and its won't cost over 5k. I prefer moran billet atomizers injectors.(GM style) I contacted Moran Motorsports on that too, he only need the duty cycle and he can program them to what ever you want and any size(150 lbs an hr to 250 lbs an hr). The intake and throttle body is up to you. Be creative and post pictures as you go along.

Thanks for all the feedback, keep the ideas coming. I think the BS3 is for the race car stuff, I need this to convert a 2 stroke V8 outboard. I am thinking about giving the MS3( megasquirt) . It looks promising and fairly cheap to try.

Good luck with the Megasquirt stuff, you will be breaking new ground.

I mentioned MOTEC because it is proven in many outboard apps, I know of 3 different V8 OMC's and many V6's that use it with excellent results. Keep us posted.
