Sound s a lot like Poliglow which looks great for awhile then is a nightmare as it fades and cracks.

There was an automotove product that sounds like this stuff. Saw some dufus rubbing it on junk cars in a wrecking yard on TV. In tried it on an old beater and it looked OK from 20 feet away. It eventually weathered and became cloudy looking.
