    Destin FL????????????

Anyone have any info on destin fl? Seems like a nice place and reasonably priced looks like 50% off from bubble. I'm looking for a beach house as a rental investment. Buchkod631x@yahoo.com. Chris

Destin is absolutely beautiful, especially the "Pass" under the bridge which is a sandbar in the crystal clear water where everyone congregates. There are also a bunch of small beach communities like Blue Mountain Beach ect... that have some great buys due to foreclosures. Take a vacation there and also check out Panama City, Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa and Navarre to. We like to get waterfront hotels in each of them and drop in the boat of PWC for a couple of days and then move on to another Hotel....

In my opinion, some of the most beautiful real estate on the planet. Scenery can be breathtaking. Not sure how you would do with rental income, it's a very competitive market.

JR hit it pretty spot on. Destin is a great area but look west to Navarre and also east back towards Panama City. South Walton County to the east of Destin is full of small communities along the beach Blue Mountain Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Seaside to name a few. All of the panhandle is seasonal but it is slowly becoming more year around. Real estate here has taken a hard it so prices are back to reality, this area has always been cheaper than many comparable parts of the state too.
