Started filling all of the holes in the dash area, antenna, lights, and other bad spots. Mocked up the engine cover and started glassing it together... More to come

    New switch fab.....

I am going to make it a push button start (no key) and I wanted to change all of the switches for everything (bilge, blower, acc, etc) but I didn't want those regular boat push/pull switches..... I bought little rockers that light up red but the problem was that the core of the dash is like 1 1/4" and the switches can only mount into a 1/4" depth.... So check it out..... I cut out a section and grinded the area around it ... In the meantime I took two pieces of plexi glass and sandwiched 2 pcs of fiberglass mat inbetween the plexi to make a solid piece of glass to fill the spot for the new switches.... I glassed it in with some strands from the matting now all I need to do is fiberglass bondo over it , sand it out, and cut in my new switches... I'll have some pics later when I get that far.......

Been busy working but I got a little time in getting my rear view mirror drilled in and gas vent fitted. Trying to get all the scratches fixed, holes repaired, and any other loose ends before paint.......... Click image for larger version.

ID:	228821Ran my wiring for the push button ignition under the D-seat, and speaker wire to the back engine cover, and also ran some wire through so I can pull my new throttle cable in when ready. Started glassing and fiber-bondoing the seams and ran out of material, have to get moving tom.
