Ted, I apologize, we should have tried the 15" pitch off of Rowdy on your boat. Neither Bill or I thought of that.

around my area, there's ramps and lakes all over the place.
I "assume" the brakes went on a Dodge of some sort, since that's all I've ever seen you drive. The Rams are great trucks, good deals on new and used, I came with in a cats whisker of buying a '14 Ram, GMC beat their price. ====

I suppose that's good for a '82. My '14 GMC gets between 20.2 and 22.8 driving the speed limit around here, got 23.4 to 23.8 running around the Keys Max speed is a rare 55mph. On the turnpike it's between 18 - 19.
    Comparing the mid size V-8's. 5.3 = 5.7
The new Ram is right up there with the GM's = high teen's to low 20's. bigger motor, more power, 8 speed tranny.
Tundra high teens, Ford about the same.
The new diesels are in the hi 20's mpg, add 3.5k to 5+k for the diesel, go blower or turbo add $$$$ some of these new trucks can hit around 70k, perhaps more. Way out of my range.
