Good to hear that you ran your Honda 225 with a speed of 100 mph.

    Excellent accomplishment Sweden!
I read about your project a while back on a swedish forum and was impressed! That's one h*ll of a prop to spin... How is the blower coming on?

I think I read something about swimming..?

    Sweden,
Your video made me want to see whats going on with my lower unit and its looks very similar. Can you take a look at my thread on rigging a transom mounted pickup and give me some advice?

5 bld / 36 pitch, never heard of one on an outboard. What manufacturer? Good luck, would like to hear your results.

Thanks for surfacing that for all to see. I cant beleive the quality of that vid. Never thought i would see what goes on back there. Thats a lot better than lettin someone else drive so you can look over the transom. Wow. Cool.........

I went to Hering's website and see they offer a 5 blade outboard cleaver, but no picture yet. Can you post a picture of yours when you recieve it. Do they offer in pitches less than 36?

Where do you guys get your numbers from? Out the cooky jar? We did a boat test on all 50hp motors for NZ powerboat mag some years back. Nothing like it. I guess you run "tuned" speedo's in the US. The blow out speed is below , well below 100mph for a standard Honda gearbox, at any hight where they will still pick up water. 35 inch pitch??

You cant blow out a gearbox that isnt in the water. And he isnt taking in water through the lower unit, he has a transom mounted pickup so he can go as high as he needs to. He also isnt in the US (tuned speedo comment) but it looks like alot of us can learn something from the Swede
