Hey Hip, sent you a reply. Not sure about another one, I think I'm burning out finally, had to do some grinding today and had to force myself to get out there and do it. It would have to be something really special.
OK, I got down off the porch and ran with the big dogs....kinda sore now....think I'll just lay here in the flowerbed for a while...

Looks great. I bet after getting it out on the water you'll change your mind and start looking for another project.

Bernie here is a shot if my Contender interior. The main seat box is 19.5 inches long and it is 3.75 inches tall at the rear. The round rear portion of the seat box is 6.5 inches tall.

Thanks Conrad! Of course I don't have the original seats. and mine probably weren't like yours, the rear seat boxes were rectangular. I'm going to use a couple of injection molded buckets made by Moeller.

The seatbox is 4.75" tall at the front, I hope thats not too high. Looks like it will be OK.
Thanks for the pic

I got my wedges put back on. 6 inches wide by nearly 1/2 inch tall. I made them bigger this time. The boat runs a LOT better with them on. They may be masking an issue with this hull, but for now IM leaving them. Went from 0-65 MPH several times and it ran out great.

Uh oh. Oh well, I'll put the tabs on mine. Glad it's working for you.
Got the interior painted in garage floor paint and got most of the rigging done, still need to mount the foot throttle and battery box and then the motor. Should be water testing in a week or so....I guess I need to get down to the DMV and get it registered. Have a set of Moeller roto-molded buckets coming Tuesday.

Good job. I wish mine looked that good! Get ready to turn left ok. And never turn right over 30mph I may switch my boat over to right steer someday to counter the motor torque. My 1500 jams the left side of the boat down under hard acceleration sometimes if Im not paying attention.
Cannot wait to hear your report when its running.
