Servicing items for Laser 220 Xri Fuel Filter?
First of all, I'm trying to find the correct fuel filter for my engine.
The Sierra catalogue lists two part numbers:
18-7967 Early model with sensor replaces 35-18458Q3
18-7968 Late model with sensor replaces 35-18458Q4
Trouble is I took the current filter off the engine and its a Quicksilver "35-18458 5"
I'm guessing I need the early model, but looking on the net I see elsewhere someone recommend the Q4 in place of mine (going by the quicksilver part number)
I also need to change the plugs and leads. Can anyone help me with the correct plugs for this engine (I'm not sure what is in there now is correct) and how to go about with new leads/what type should I get.
Thanks all, hoping to get this out on the water soon so any help would be awesomeLast edited by madgadget; 10-18-2010 at 12:05 PM.

I've still been looking but seems this is a cross over period/little made engine. Am I right in thinking also that a gasket set for any 2.4 engines 200hp efi etc will be the correct set for this engine?
Thanks all
