    Evinrude Etec 150 HO

    Hi everyone!

Does anyone know at what rpm the engine is limited? The spec sheet says full throttle rpm range is 4850-5850 but today I heard it rev way over 6000 up to 6700. Could that really be the case?

    Thanks // Jon

If it made it to 6700 it'll throw the "you ain't doin' that to me" code 57 ECU shut down, and you'd be on your way to the dealer with a motor that won't start.

I know plenty of the analog tachos to be 500rpm out, this seems to be a common amount to be faulty with.
