Exhaust for LQ9
Indmar which builds all the motors and trannys for mastercraft and malibu boats used the LQ9 for multiple years. The stock exhaust manifolds were a one piece manifold/riser and were aluminum. I believe the years they used that motor were 02 to 05. The cams in that motor were set up to tow so they were torque motors that pulled to 5400RPM with 385 hp. You could buy these manifolds from Indmar in Corona, CA. Might not be cheap but straight bolt on for wet exhaust and all the water fittings to run it. Also depending on what your building, you might go carb and buy the ignition set up to run the coils. There is an aftermarket intake as well to go with it. Again not cheap but a friend was running this motor in a chevelle with a big cam, carb, intake, and electronics for the coils and was well over 550 hp without a rebuild of anything, and only replaced the valve springs.
