    Some Vacation Pics

Just got in from a month Vacation. It was great!! Spend 3 weeks on Woods and Kal Lake and 1 week on Vancouver Island. Hears a pic of me out in 4+ footers just trying to find shelter and the one with all the guys around was them holding the hull so I could get in and take off. A big wind storm with 60mph winds came up and sank lots of boats that day but I managed to find a bay to wait it out. The calm pics is what 99% of the water looked like. Enjoy.

Dang James. Thats always my biggest fear when im in the interior with my boat. Atleast it brewed up in the day n not at night. Those interior lakes are nice n protected 90% of the time but as soon as the wind decides to follow the valleys it gets nasty QUICK!

Yep Im sure glad it was daytime also. There would have been a few more boats looking like the sunk one. I just got back from a 60 mile run gone a few hours and it was a little rough but not to bad. I thought I would take a knap before dinner and just a half our into it after I got back a friend ran into my room yelling me to go down to the boats its an emergancy!! I thought what ever, what can be so bad looked a bit windy out my window but when I went out of the room it was like holy crap trees falling every were!! My bouy was at the edge of a reef so I could walk out not paddle out to her. Well we all know what happens on reefs when the waves start comming. Surfs up!!

The guys held my boat so I could jump in lower the motor a bit and get out of dodge into deeper water. Lots of fun but a little scary at the same time worring about the Allison. They said you better beach her and I said not this boat!! That would have been not good for the pad at all. Lucky i had a guy wave me over to a lift he wasnt useing and we left her high and dry over night on the lift. Lake storms are wicked as you say sometimes. Cool pics though Im glad someone got some shots.

Ha ha you know it actually did clean every nick and cranny. I was happy the water never got as high as the electronics and the battery is in a sealed bulkhead that stayed dry. Good thinking by Darris.
