i love mine, i did have problem with the exact-a-dial would just not respond sometimes but they are sending me a new control module for free so i cant relly complain the operation of the jack plate itself is flawless and no matter how far up or down it is strong. the design of the land and sea is poor all the way up its weak because less material is in contact it slides out of itself...if you know what i mean

i had the same problem with my land and sea. tore it apart and couldnt find parts so i replaced it with a cmc. land and sea jackplates are junk. although i will admit it goes up and down much faster than my cmc.
