Sorry to invade your topic but wow those skiffs are nice! Its nice to see custom boat builders that only have a few+ models unlike big names like Ranger who have 10 different skiff models.

i would say the economy would be as good as you can get for a 150 that you can turn 6500 or so if that matters. i am assuming this and couldnt say for sure, just from my own research. and it probably puts out about 170 hp. if the 175 puts out close to 200.

Are you sure you can rev it as high as 6500? That would be awesome!

According to Merc's website the max rpm on the 150 Pro XS is 6000. Unless they are wrong which would be awesome.

They gotta make a 150XS Racing outboard with a 6500 rev limit..mmmm

Where on the Merc-site did you find that? I can only find "Full throttle RPM 5250-5750".

5750max rpm 431 lbs. Oops my mistake. I thouhgt the xs models all had 6500 rpm max., sorry.
