We are outboards!
Thank you for making Scream And Fly the best source for outboard news and tech on the Internet! When I was at Jasper, it was a revelation for me. I never realized the extent of the effect this website has on so many people. That’s my fault – I’m always in front of this computer, and never out in at these events. That has to change... I want to get out to more boating events.
At Jasper, I met so many great people, and my only regret is not having more time to get to know all of you. You have all helped so many people in the outboard motor community through Scream And Fly – I think we’ve really made a difference in high performance boating. This information source has become so talked out and appreciated by so many. That is the number one goal of Scream And Fly – to help people.
Many of you send me mails, and I do my best to respond as quickly as possible. I appreciate all of the feedback I get from you, and I apologize if I am not able to respond very quickly. I try to get to them all, and I don’t want anyone to think the mails are not important to me. This website is what it is because of you and what you wanted.
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you.

Greg,
Thanks for all of your efforts in keeping S&F, as well as our sport going in the correct direction.
I see big things in the future for our sport. More and more people seem to be singing the same song with the direction all of the high performance boating magazines are going in; mega dollar offshore's and the like. I read several other boards, including one that is on a pretty big magazine's website, (you know the one I mean). There are threads over there right now that have people complaining over the high dollar boat reviews, no more grass-roots stuff to read on. No v-drives, no outboards, all big dollar I/O's.
I think as far as the outboard segment goes, Scream and Fly has it covered better than it ever has been covered. This is the gathering place for all outboards.
I am surprised if I come across someone with a Hydrostream or STV that has never heard of Scream and Fly. When I do, I'm like, Oh man. You don't even know what you're missing!
Thanks again,
I could go on and on.........Last edited by LaserModVee; 10-21-2002 at 12:38 PM.

Greg S & F @ Jasper
Greg,
Sorry I didn't get to meet you at Jasper...I kept seeing this guy who looked familiar, but I couldn't place him, it was you. I was so busy that weekend, I couldn't find my own butt to scratch it. I did finally recognize you, as I was putting in the water to race, and never saw you again to introduce myself...maybe at the Rumble 03.

Greg...
Love the site. It's served as source of both entertainment and education. Not many things today qualify as both. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy the fruits of your labor.
PS. The package arrived today and the jacket looks great. Thanks!'83 Checkmate Enchanter

The Power Of Scream And Fly
Greg it was good meeting you at Jasper and like I told you at the Acuff thanks for doing this for all of us. When I first started thinking about doing a boat ride and party I realized all I had to do to get the word out was post the info here. Without having that luxury I dont think it would have ever took place. It is neat meeting people from this site and sharing our passion for fast outboards. Beats the hell out of the stupid questions and funny looks you get from the "normal boaters" Keep up the good work and get out to more of the events you help create.

great sight!!!!!!
Greg you have put one hell of a sight up here. All the guys are great, I just wish I had more time to get to more of the events. Maybe next year. This sight has brought me many many laughs, made many new friends, and it most of all it bosted my intrest back into the outboard powered speed boats. I still have to first Vector I bought so many years ago when I was 16.
But you also costed me a mess of money on adding to my hydrostream collection not to mention how many perfectly good outboards I have ruined this year. I am addicted again.
Keep up the great work........I give Greg a big A+++, the bigger and better this gets the bigger and better the performance boat market may become, just what this sport needs
