How do you wash your hands? Gas smell

Yes I am serious, how do you wash your hands after getting gasoline on them. The last few times that I have gotten gas on my hands I can not seem to wash it off. Last night this is what did not work, all of it.

I'm sure there are better ways, but this is what I do if it hasn't been on My skin long enough to soak in deep... I spray My hands real well with WD-40 and rub them vigorously for 15-20 seconds as if I were washing them... I wipe most of that off with a shop rag, then I take a small glob of cheap bearing grease and do the same as I did with the WD-40... My idea behind is to basically displace one petroleum smell for a more tolerable petroleum smell... Seems to work well for Me, because I kinda like the smell of WD-40 and grease which goes away after a little while...

The only thing I found that works is a clay based hand cleaner with walnut shell particles. Something about the clay base that absorbs the hydrocarbons, nothing else I have tried works at all...but the clay works perfectly. Someone once told me its the natural enzymes in the clay that gets the odor out and that using soil or natural beach sand would likely work as well, I tried the garden soil treatment once and it works somewhat but the clay gets it 100%.

    Hope it helps.

Years ago Snap On dealer gave some samples, stuff was green powder worked well on all stinks. Gas ain't so bad nothing worse than burnt gearoil or ATF, sorry I can't remember what that green stuff was called.

Eat onions and garlic. The gas smell isn't really affected, but it is diminished at a distance.
