Another example of ART that should be identified as ART
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=270593996674
Its NOT and never was a Chris Craft racer ... its ART and should be acknowledged as such.
What are your opinions of the description ... would most people understand this is one man's art and not an actual motor that can be or would have been raced?

Myself, not knowing much on the old small motors such as this , would read that ad and assume that it was an original Chris Craft racer that was modified by the owner, with the modifications as stated.
It sure is a fine little motor tho'........

Id say the description has been worded very favorably to lead one to believe it would be a factory race motor. If someone was green and did not know any better they would end up paying more for it than its worth. But I have to imagine 99 percent of the people looking for such a motor know enough to cut thru the bull. It only takes one guy that dont know anything to bid up a motor too far.
