Look at a picture of the concept from the side. It doesn't have the hook in the chine area like most actions. It is just staight

Actually I think there is a slight hook, I'll look later, I know that the strakes have slight hooks in them. When i redid the bottom I tried to make sure that they were the same from side to side. The pad is straight.

I'm sorry guys for all the questions. Since I got my motion, I have been looking closely at all the differant details of actions and their copies. I just find it interesting. Thanks for being patient! Maybe I should start a thread asking about all of the differant molds and their details and who built them and where they went when they changed hands, Kind of a history. It seems like there used to be more information that would come up about all this when I ran a search but since the new format I can't find it. Hope it's not lost.

Got some work done over the last few days. Not as much as I would have liked but thats how it goes. I got the rest of the interior that I wont be working on gelcoated. The floors are sill bare, I'll do those when I'm closer to fininshing. I went and got carpet to put in it, i got it all cut out and fit, I'll put snaps in it and make it snap down. I need to make a dash panel soon and order the gauges for it. Still have to work on the motor. I cant seem to get the sea star steering to come apart. I'm probably going to pull the lower off it and do the impeller. I did a compression test on it and they all came at 90 psi.

Yeah well, my plan changed. The whole thing is apart, lower, mid, plate thats under the pwrhead, I didnt do anything to the head yet. I'm glad its apart, it'll be easier to paint. I plan on taking att the bolts that In can get to out and putting some tef-gel, or anti seize on them, there was so much corrosion on all of them. So I need a few suggestions, first the steering arm is old and rusted, you can see that someone sanded and painted it at one time, where can I get a new one if I need it? Next what if any performance mods can or should be made while its apart, I'm not looking to spend a bunch of $$$$$ but if there is a good mod to make I'll consider it. What about solid mounts? I see the rubber ones are still in good shape but are solid ones better to have. I know there are things to do to the exaust but I'm not sure what the options are. Any help will be appreciated.

Not really sure if its needed. I'll have a mechanic look at it. My dad looked at it and said it should be fine, but were no mechanics. I was more interested if anything should be done to the exaust tuner, or if I should look into solid mounts (i'm not sure how big of a difference they make in this application), or drill out drains. I'm not sure when I'll put a nose cone on it, I'll look into that also.

Ur gonna need a nose cone if u plan on running over 75 and a torque tab as well..
Solid mounts aren't necessary if the other ones are good put it back together and shake the mid if it moves bad then I would replace em

The mounts that are there look good, no cracks or anything. Look for a nose cone, check.
