Hey I don't recommend sand bags. Did you ever read my friend Chris Majors story about sand bags? I think it was somewhere in the anything Challenger thread. If you didn't I'll re tell it.

A recap would be great!!!!!
For em to run teh boat the way you do, I would defiantely need to do a rear tie bar setup like you have also.

Chris and one of his friends went down to the Jersey shore with their boats. Chris had his Shadow with a single 2.4 at the time and his friend had a new to him Shadow with twin 200 Mercs and wasn't too good behind the wheel yet. They decided the 2nd day they were down there to take a rip in the ocean and his buddy was afraid he might flip it so they went and got a couple sand bags for the nose. While out there he blew out both sand bags and by the time he got back the whole floor was covered with sand. On the way back home they decided they would go to the car wash to vacuum out all the sand. Apparently the boat was so bad that when the guy who owned the car wash came over to check out the 2 boats, he looked in and told them "you don't need a vacuum, you need a couple beach chairs!".

Mike your killin us!
But I already broke 100 in a 22 Velocity. It just took 2 2.5s to do it. I'm quite happy if I can get 90 with a single. Don't forget these are a foot longer, a foot wider, and also have more freeboard than your boat. So far I got 89.9 with 2 people and 1/4 tank of gas. I just made a gearcase & prop change and I think 90 will be in the bag now, at least I hope. Maybe one day it will stop raining and I can go try it.

We all got caught in it. I'll wait, it can't rain forever.
