I have to admit I found this site by accident while looking for girls on SAILBOATS!! After spending several hours starting at page 1, I've decided I may have to sell my sailboat and move over to the dark side
Well her ya' go...To get a sailboater on a powerboat is a rare event indeed!!!
That's a big 10-4, five hours don't sound bad... I may have to speed up my intentions on pontoon boat shopping, instead trying to make a weekend out of a drag boat ...
Well If you head out early in the morning and get your drag boat to the cove inside Hell's Gate you will be golden, or you can follow us in and stay in our wake at about 40mph or so. The wakes can be brutal sometimes due to the way the lake is laid out as well as the size of some of the boats on the lake.
You could get a few challengers out there early in the morning when the lake is calm. But I also think a pontoon and a few friends would be the best way to make a day of it.
I have been told that Lake Texoma is the place to go for Memorial Day but I have not seen it first hand so I don't know for sure. I think I will go check it out this year.
Lake Texoma is a little closer to you.
