DFI Technologies Random thought
Many claim that the main reason the DFI's blow more often then the older EFI/Carb motors is they are much leaner in order to meet the EPA demands and Fuel efficiency. It is said that lean is mean till they blow
I know performace shops hav been successful in playing with the limiters on the ECU, but has anyone thought to richen the fuel and take them off the ragged edge EPA be dammed.
Thought just popped into my head.............

Someone should put a wideband on one to prove, once and for all, if they do actually run leaner.
It should be noted that lean engines actually produce more NOx than stoich or rich. That's why it doesn't necessarily make sense to just run them lean.
