I wonder in F2 if the Gen II is faster than the Gen 1?
I thought SST 120 at under 200HP still wins?

And yet they hold GP formula 1 races there and even sponsor a two boat team.

time we started calling engines greener and not green
tomorrows 2 stoke may be greener than yesterdays 4 stroke
I wonder if you ran a 2 stroke on 100% ethanol and castor oil you could call it 100% sustainable and greener?
Ask the car engine group what they do with the oil filter and oil when it gets changed?

Do you know if that was at the crank or at the prop?

Prop rating. Many guys have run the 200XS Gen 1 20" right next to a Merc 200 EFI on the same hulls and they both were neck and neck. The Gen 2 is a different animal.

So if I have a SVS on my 200EFI and a raised limiter and 4 petal cages, the Gen 1 would be going backwards in power....would a gen II perform similar or better????

Won't ever happen.....that motor only exists for the small cat classes racing overseas. Nice motors, but won't ever see EPA/CARB certification or warranties.
